Promoting space and voice of Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in decision making and National Health Processes
The Project had as key objectives:

To increase meaningful engagement of Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in Global Fund processes and related national policies in Cameroon through supporting AGYW representation and participation

To improve the availability of integrated HIV and ASRH services for AGYW, leading to increased access to HIV and Adolescent SRH services

Create greater awareness on AGYW involvement and participation in HIV/AIDs related processes
CAGEAD as Country lead was responsible for:
- Supervising and coordinating activities of 06 grantees in Cameroon
- Provide technical organizational development capacity and mentorship to grantees
- Organize and lead coordination meetings with Grantees to ensure that their advocacy agendas align with country profiles and strategy
- Map out key platforms and other civil society that can support efforts of the consortium
- Coordinate the promotion and profiling of Her Voice Fund in country by continuous engagement of local media and social media
Key Outcomes
- Facilitate the Strengthening of Organizational Development Capacity for Her Voice Fund Grantee organizations and Country Lead( see report attached)
- Improve AGYW’s Knowledge on SRHR and Gender Based Violence and Provision of Basic Relief services in conflict and COVID-19 setting in the NW Region of Cameroon(see Report attached)
- Organize National Forum to Launch the HER VOICE FUND strategy for 2022-2025
- Carry out research and produced of a factsheet on SRHR policies with recommendations for AGYW participation in policy formulation, implementation and evaluation( see fact sheet attached)
